The Day of Pentecost: Whitsunday

Wear red for Pentecost this Sunday.
Today's Readings: Ezekiel 37:1-14, Psalm 104:25–35, 37;  Acts 2:1–21; John 15:26–27, 16:4b–15

8 am (Chapel) Holy Eucharist
Our earliest service on Sundays, the 8 am service offers a quiet, traditional service with a sermon and no music. The order of service follows the traditional Rite I language of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer

9 am (Church) Holy Eucharist

Join us for an intimate celebration of holy communion, held in the round, that emphasizes congregational singing and fresh, new ways of talking about God and the life of faith. St. Bart's Singers offer musical leadership. Download the leaflet here.

Do you read or speak a language other than English? Can you do that in our Pentecost services? This Sunday at our 9 am and 11 am services, we ask all who can to stand at their seat and read Acts 2:5–11 in a different language at the same time the lesson is read in English. Hearing all the languages at one time gives a powerful sense of that first Pentecost. Learn more and download translations here.

10 am (Great Hall) The Forum: Hearing the Spirit's Call

Four members of the St. Bart's community exploring a possible call to ordained ministry (Kate DiTullio, Nathan Peace, Bailey Regan, and Teagan Sage) reflect on how they hear the Spirit's call.
