WHAT TERRAIN IS THIS? The bread that keeps on giving . . .

St. Bart's, has provided professional social services to poor and immigrant communities since 1888.  Our goal is to prevent hunger and end homelessness.  The work is centered in the soup kitchen which includes breakfast program and a dinner program (over 40,000 meals prepared and served on site), the food pantry (groceries to help low income families provide food for more than 20,000 meals in their own homes) and the overnight shelter (which provides dinner up to eight women who spend the night in the shelter each night of the year).  Recently St. Bart's founded Crossroads Community Services Inc, (CCSI) a separate 501c3 corporation to allow organizations and individuals, who may not wish to support the religious mission of St. Bart's, but who share our passion for helping the hungry and homeless to join us serving in this place at the Crossroads of NYC.  To get involved, or call him at 212.378.0229.
