CRI concludes its tenth anniversary year with a wide array of course offerings, designed to enhance your understanding of your religion and the religion of your neighbors. For several years, CRI, in cooperation with the Barnard College Center for Research on Women, has presented a series "Women in Religion." The program will kick off on Thursday, March 5 with the Rt. Rev. Catherine S. Roskam, Bishop Suffragan of the Episcopal Diocese of New York. Also participating in succeeding sessions are film-maker Anisa Mehdi, Professor Claudia Setzer, Professor Rachel McDermott, and Professor Jeannine Hill Fletcher. You may register online. "Introduction to Islam" has been our most popular course during the ten years of our existence. Our veteran teacher Hussein Rashid will again teach this "intro" course, beginning on Monday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m. If you have not taken this course, so essential to our understanding the world around us, as well as our neighbors here in New York, please register online. St. Bart's Rector Bill Tully and Rabbi Leonard Schoolman, CRI director will again engage in a "Rector and Rabbi" dialogue. Join them for their four part discussion, beginning Tuesday, February 10 at 6:30 p.m. You may register online for this course as well. If you do not have a hard copy of our CRI catalog, you may get one from St. Bart's Central in person or by phone at 212-378-0222. Rabbi Leonard A.
