CLASSROOMS
The classrooms at St. Bart's Preschool are all large and bright, offering a flexible layout for both group and individual activities. Each classroom has a play area equipped with age appropriate toys, blocks, games, puzzles, a sand table and a dramatic play space. Additionally, each has a work area with tables and chairs. Bulletin boards can be found throughout the school filled with the children’s artwork.
The school also has access to several large multi-purpose rooms, used for weekly Dance/Movement, Yoga and indoor play during inclement weather.
LIBRARY
The Preschool Library, conveniently located close to the classrooms, has built-in stadium seating. This allows everyone to see the pictures as the story is being read. The Library has approximately 2,500 volumes and averages the addition of 125 new books each year!
ROOFTOP PLAYGROUND
The Preschool’s Rooftop Playground offers an amazing spacious outdoor play space for the students. The playground was resurfaced in 2010 with green pavers to provide a resilient, shock-absorbent, weather-resistent traffic surface. While on the Rooftop Playground, the children have ample room for riding tricycles, running, skipping and climbing. A perfect place for playing!
GYMNASIUM AND SWIMMING POOL
The gymnasium and heated-pool are both used by the Preschool students on a weekly basis. Beginning in Class III, students participate in swimming lessons. After school tennis classes are conducted in the large gymnasium.
