St. Bartholomew Community Preschool strongly encourages parent participation. We see an important link between each child’s home and school life. There are numerous opportunities for parents to be involved including Family Luncheons, Family Play Day, Holiday/Book Fair, Parents’ Night, and class trips, just to name a few.

Communication between teachers and parents is on-going. Teachers are readily available to address any concerns a parent might have. Additionally, two formal Parent/Teacher conferences are held during the year. Class Newsletters are also sent home monthly to help parents stay informed.

It is also important to us that the students of St. Bart’s see and appreciate the community beyond the school walls. The children are introduced to community involvement at the beginning of their Preschool years. Food collection for the pantry, participating in a Trike-a-thon to raise money for St. Judes Hospital, donating their extra Halloween candy, and collecting for Unicef are just a few examples.
