Youth @ The Center helped during St. Bart's Blessing of the Animals Service on October 2. No reptiles were spotted, but there were plenty of dogs (many of whom sang beautifully) and cats. We also spotted a red-haired guinea pig!

Youth @ The Center serve the church in a variety of ways. The Youth Verger (in black at left) helps set up and orchestrate the 9:00 service as well as providing direction for the Youth Acolytes and Lay Readers. It is a position of high honor, requiring maturity, responsibility and an in-depth knowledge of the Eucharist.
Youth @ The Center focus on the unique qualities inherent in all living things,
(Clementines!) and in themselves. On September 25, Sr. Youth @ The Center were given Clementines and asked to "get to know the Clementine they'd been given" so that, when it was placed back in a large pile with other Celementines, they could identify it easily. Every member of the group was able to pick their individual Clementine out of the pack. Youth group members then focussed on the qualities that make each of them different and special.

Jr. and Sr. Youth @ The Center joined with other people and families to celebrate the beginning of the year at the CY@F party! Plenty of food, fun activities, and swimming marked the day as a rousing success!
