The series provides an informal time for parents to learn, share, and explore the nuances and special challenges of raising ethical and spiritual children in New York City. On Wednesday, October 18, from 6:30-8:00pm, Julie Ross, excutive director of Parenting Horizons and St. Bart's parishioner, will offer he first in the serioes, "Giving Kids Good Values: Challenges and Rewards of Raising Children in NYC." Designed for parents of toddlers through teens, this workshop addresses helping children to balance tantalizing media images and alternative peer values with good internal sensibility. $5 donation.
