Please join us in reading former president Jimmy Carter’s book Talking Peace. At the June meeting we’ll set a July date for discussion.

Owing to new connections with Megan Putney, Program Director of the Muslim Consultative Network, and with Salwa Kader, President of the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace (a non-political not-for-profit organization associated with the Department of Public Information at the United Nations), we have some exciting new projects in the works. Stay tuned!

The Episcopal Peace Fellowship (EPF) is a national organization connecting all who seek a deliberate response to injustice and violence and want to pray, study and take action for justice and peace in our communities, our church, and the world. We are called to do justice, dismantle violence, and strive to be peacemakers.

Goals: We are currently seeking to establish connections with members of a local Muslim community, in the hope of working together on projects of common concern. Our tentative long-term goals include sponsoring a full-length training program in non-violent conflict resolution and cross-cultural communication. We are open to any and all ideas for fostering justice and peace in our local, national, and global communities.
