Challenges We are stewards of a great sacred space, a space that also strategically serves our members and is open to the city. St. Bart’s ability to strengthen and serve is challenged on a daily basis by the costly demands of its deteriorating facilities, including: Excessive water penetration Deterioration of the dome’s mosaic tiles Antiquated electrical and mechanical systems Inadequate interior and exterior lighting A limited endowment
