The 2008 Annual Fund for St. Bartholomew’s Church
At St. Bart’s, worship is at the heart of all
we do. Nothing else we do in common comes close to the power of worship and
music to unite us and excite us about being St. Bart’s.
Many members and friends tell us how much they
value the worship, the fine music and the diverse programs at St. Bart’s. What
they don’t always know is that they are the ones who make it all possible each
year with their growing support of the Annual Fund. Everyone who crosses our
threshold benefits in some way from the Annual Fund.
Your gift to the 2008 Annual Fund will touch the lives of thousands in a
multitude of ways:
- Diverse
religious services attended by more than 1,200 people weekly
- Our
Great Music series of public concerts and recitals, our Summer Festival of
Sacred Music and special seasonal liturgies
- Quality
interfaith courses, lectures and workshops through the Center for
Religious Inquiry
- A
ministry of support and teaching to children, youth and families
- A
variety of fellowship and service groups to nurture a community of
believers and seekers
- An
active Community Ministry Program serving 78,000 meals per year,
sheltering eight homeless men and women each night and supplementing the
diets of more than 7,500 of the domiciled poor
