Chris Turner
DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Chris Turner is the Development Coordinator at St. Bart's. He has worked in the nonprofit arena since graduating from college. Chris brings an interdisciplinary, entrepreneurial mind and deep spirituality to the tasks of data and donor management.
Chris is committed to the pastoral and civic missions of St. Bart's. He enjoys coming to work knowing that he is making a distinctive and immediate difference to the NYC communities that the parish serves. "Christmas and Easter are the times everyone thinks of church," he says. "But I can see and feel that difference in the hungry being fed, and the quiet meditations in darkened pews."
Chris graduated from SUNY Purchase in 2007 with a BA in Environmental Studies. In 2010, he graduated with an MA in Sustainable Business and Communities from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. Outside of the church, Chris owns and runs a small business, finds time to practice his faith and is exploring Ph.D. programs.
