Dennis T. Durney
DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES
Dennis has been Director of Facilities for Saint Bartholomew's Church for the last 18 years. He was formerly Director of the Marriott Corporation. When asked to be a member of Reverend Tully's new team, he was privileged to accept the position, recognizing the importance, history and ongoing activity associated with this unique New York City landmark.
Because of the location, Dennis has had the privilege of working with the United States Secret Service, The United Nations, and The New York City Police Department's Intelligence division (responsible for formulating security and threat assessments for visits by three United States President, a number of Heads of State of visiting nations and the Secretary General of the United Nations.)
While the challenges of maintaining the facilities of such an urban treasure are enormous, Dennis enjoys the part he plays in this spiritual crossroads located in the heart of the New York City community. .
