Q. Who are the ministers of the Church?
A. The ministers of the Church are lay persons, bishops, priests and deacons.
That's the formal and very helpful way the official Catechism in the Book of Common Prayer puts the ministry of the Church in perspective.
Many, many members of St. Bart's do ministry, and only a few of them are ordained. Those ordained persons—in our case five priests and one deacon—are often the most visible. And they see their role, among many others things, to use that visibility to be helpful connectors. They can help connect you with the whole spectrum of people and activities in a place as large as St. Bart's. Get to know each of them by following the links to the left.
